Kinks legend Ray Davies has been working on a collaboration album and we’re learning more about what to expect from it.  Rolling Stone reports that the disc will feature Bruce Springsteen doing a version of “Better Things” and Bon Jovi performing “Celluloid Heroes” with Ray.  Other rumored collaborators include Billy Corgan, Spoon, Frank Black and Lucinda Williams.  No word yet on if the set will feature just Kinks’ covers or if Davies’ solo material will be on it as well.  The as-yet-untitled album is due out before the end of the year.
