What are the best guitar solos of all time?  Gibson.com has compiled a list of the ones they deem the top 50 and Jimmy Page’s riffs in the 1971 Led Zeppelin hit “Stairway to Heaven” top the list.  It’s one of four Page solos to make the cut.  Second place goes to Eddie Van Halen’s instrumental in Van Halen’s 1978 song “Eruption,” followed by Jimi Hendrix’s solo his 1968 “All Along the Watchtower” cover.  Hendrix and Eric Clapton also have four solos on the list.  Get all the details at Gibson.com.
