NO MORE POP ALBUMS FOR ELTON

Don’t expect any more pop albums from Elton John.  The singer told USA Today he is moving away from the genre and plans to focus more on blues music.  He stated, “I might collaborate with Lady Gaga or the Scissor Sisters on a single, but I’m not going to make pop albums anymore.”  Elton went on to say that while he loves electronic and dance music, he’ll never be able to make music like it because, as he said, “I’m 63 and too old.  If I ever tried, I wouldn’t be true to myself.”  Read more at USAToday.com
