Last week, the T.J. Martell Foundation for Leukemia, Cancer and AIDS Research held their 35^th annual awards gala and at the event, Wendy Dio, Ronnie James Dio’s widow, donated 100-thousand dollars to the cause.  The money will fund a stomach cancer research program in Ronnie’s name.  She also urged the audience to be vigilant about cancer screenings and check-ups.  All told, the T.J. Martell event raised nearly one-and-a-half-million dollars.
