THE SECRET TO AC/DC’S LONGEVITY

Posted: Mar 31, 2011

Today, AC/DC guitarist Angus Young turns 56 years old.  The rocker has spent 41 of his years in the band, so what is the secret to their longevity?  He told us it’s consistency.

“We’ve always stuck to that hard edge thing and we’ve kept that all the way through.  We haven’t drifted off into different things like disco or raps.  We haven’t sort of tried to take on what’s the latest thing.”

You’ll be able to watch Angus and the rest of the band’s 2009 show in Argentina when their new concert DVD, AC/DC Live at River Plate, comes out on May 10th.  Pre-order yours today at ACDC.com.
