DEF LEPPARD EXCITED TO PLAY NEW SONGS LIVE

Posted: May 30, 2011

On June 7th, Def Leppard will release their first-ever live album, Mirrorball, which also boasts three new tracks.  Days later, the band will kick off their joint tour with Heart.  So are the guys excited to play the new music live?  Guitarist Phil Collen filled us in.

“I am, you know, whenever you do, whenever any artist writes new material, you really want to be rewarded by an audience of letting them let you play live.  That’s always a thrill.  Yeah, you always want to do that but obviously, you gotta play your old stuff as well.”

Hear Def Leppard’s new songs live when they tour with Heart.  The trek begins on June 15th in Florida and you can get all the dates at DefLeppard.com.
