It’s Memorial Day, the unofficial start to the summer, and what a summer it will be for fans of rock.  2011 will host a slew of tours, including some impressive collaborative treks, like Motley Crue, Poison and New York Dolls, who hit the road on June 7^th; Def Leppard and Heart, whose joint tour begins on June 15^th; and Styx and Yes, who kick off a trek on July 5^th.  Meanwhile, Foreigner will be playing with Journey and Night Ranger starting on July 21^st and U2 are currently on tour.  Bob Seger is playing live for the first time in a few years and Kiss are out on the road again too.  Other acts with shows this summer include Paul McCartney, Deep Purple, Peter Frampton, Alice Cooper and Rush.  Head to your favorite band’s website for all their summer concert dates and have a great summer!
