According to Decanter.com, a wine scholarship has been created in the name of Rush singer Geddy Lee. Grapes for Humanity Canada has committed over $25-thousand to establish the Geddy Lee endowed scholarship. The fund will provide an annual scholarship for a student in the second year of Niagara College’s Wine and Viticulture Technician program who intends to pursue a career in winemaking after graduation. Lee is a board member for Grapes for Humanity and has supported the organization since its inception in 2001.
