			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>As part of the 40<sup>th</sup> anniversary celebration of <strong>The</strong> <strong>Doors</strong>’ classic<strong> </strong>album, <em>L-A Woman</em>, a new documentary was just released.  It’s called <em>Mr. Mojo Risin’ </em>and drummer <strong>John Densmore </strong>told us about it.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>Black Sabbath </strong>drummer <strong>Bill Ward </strong>has posted a letter to fans, letting them know that he won’t be able to take part in the original line-up of the band’s reunion unless he is given a <em>“fair agreement.”  </em>The rocker explained in the post, <em>“I would love nothing more to be able to proceed with the Black Sabbath album and tour.  However, I am unable to continue unless a ‘signable’ contract is drawn up; a contract that <span id="more-14720"></span>reflects some dignity and respect toward me as an original member of the band.”  </em>Tony said he is in a <em>“holding pattern” </em>for now but wants to get to work.  He makes sure to note that his position is <em>“not greed-driven” </em>or <em>“some kind of a blackmail deal,” </em>rather he would <em>“like something that recognizes and is reflective of [his] contributions to the band.”  </em>Read his whole statement at <em>BillWard.com</em>.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The <strong>Scorpions </strong>might be on their final tour ever, but it won’t be the last you hear from them.  Fresh off the release of <em>Comeblack</em>, an album with re-recorded versions of their hits and some cover songs, guitarist <strong>Rudolf Schenker </strong>is saying that fans can expect to see a bunch of <span id="more-14704"></span><em>“special” </em>releases once they finish up the trek early next year.  The rocker told <em>Billboard.com </em>that they have a library of old songs and hundreds of hours of film material.  Rudolf added, <em>“Of course we want to give this material to the fans.  It would be terrible for this material to be hanging in our warehouse and not get out.”  </em>Read more at <em>Billboard.com</em>.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Since <strong>AC/DC</strong> aren’t touring or making music right now, <strong>Brian Johnson </strong>is keeping busy with one of his favorite hobbies – racing cars.  The rocker took part in last weekend’s <em>Rolex 24 </em>race at the <em>Daytona International Speedway </em>in Florida.  It’s a 24 hour race and Brian shared driving duties <span id="more-14707"></span>with four other guys.  After completing 672 laps in their <em>BMW</em>, the team finished 32<sup>nd</sup> out of 59 competitors.  During the endurance race, the singer raised funds for families affected by pediatric cancer.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>Def Leppard </strong>sure like touring!  After spending much of 2011 on the road, the band will be heading out on another trek later this year.  Guitarist <strong>Vivian Campbell</strong> revealed the news and according to <em>Blabbermouth.net</em>, he said that the guys will be out again this summer but they<span id="more-14673"></span> don’t have the details worked out yet.  Guitarist <strong>Phil Collen </strong>previously told <em>Noisecreep.com </em>that their next tour would coincide with the release of the film <em>Rock of Ages</em>, which includes their music and some other classic rockers, who will also be on tour with the band.  Phil said <strong>Poison </strong>will likely be on the bill too.</p>
